THE ARCHBISHOP CURLEY HIGH SCHOOL CHOIRS WELCOME YOU
WHO WE ARE
Archbishop Curley High School is a Roman Catholic college preparatory high school located in northeast Baltimore City, almost directly adjacent to I-95. The school was founded in 1961 and is owned by the Archdiocese of Baltimore and, since its founding, has been operated by the Conventual Franciscan Friars. The student body is comprised of approximately 550 male students in grades 9 through 12.
The Curley Choral Program was begun in 1996 with four students, experienced phenomenal growth and has for many years included well over 140 students. On the average, only 3-4% of students enrolled in the Curley Choral Program have had any prior choral experience before coming to Curley.
The Curley Choral Program presently includes four performing ensembles:
The Curley Choir which includes all choristers who are current students at the school.
The Curley Schola, a smaller ensemble which includes choristers who are invited to have the opportunity to perform more challenging music and to perform on a more frequent basis.
The Luminare Choir which includes selected alumni choristers and selected choristers who are current students.
The Curley Ringers, the school's resident handbell ensemble.

A message from the Choirmaster:
A great time was had by all who attended this academic year's final Friendly Farms dinner outing on Friday, May 15. Great food and great fellowship combined to make this a fitting social conclusion to a successful year for the Curley choral program. Thanks are extended to all who attended.
All Curley Choir choristers are again reminded to schedule a Semester II jury. A SignUpGenius link was sent out several weeks ago to use for this scheduling process. The link is also enshrined under the "Links" bar on each chorister's PlusPortals Choral Ensemble website. This link must be used to schedule a Semester II jury. Curley Choir choristers who are current seniors and have not been notified that they are exempt from the Semester II jury must schedule and punctually attend a jury session that is on or before the final day of senior exams. Junior, sophomore and freshman choristers should not wait until the end of the semester to schedule a jury inasmuch as all available remaining time may have already been scheduled.
Schola and Luminare Choir choristers are again reminded to mark on their schedules the Farewell Mass for Fr. Donald. This is scheduled for Sunday, June 7 at 11:00 A.M.
